TowSafe – Account Deletion
Request the deletion of your TowSafe account and associated data
Option 1: Delete directly in the app (recommended)
You can delete your account instantly from within the TowSafe app:
- Open the TowSafe app
- Tap Profile in the navigation menu
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, email us at:
Please include:
- The email address associated with your TowSafe account
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
We will process your request within 7 business days.
What data is deleted
Permanently deleted immediately:
- Your account profile (name, email)
- All vehicle (truck) profiles you created
- All trailer profiles you created
- All saved towing calculations
- All cargo profiles
- App preferences and settings
Data retained for legal/financial compliance:
- Stripe payment/transaction records — retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations. These are held by Stripe, not TowSafe directly.
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Any active subscriptions should be canceled before deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Stripe subscription — please cancel it first via the Subscription page in the app.
